Allen Warren Kinlaw Sr.

Lynchburg Mr. Allen Warren Kinlaw, Sr. age 67, passed away Sunday, January 21, 2018 at the McLeod Hospice House after an illness. A graveside service will be held 2pm Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at Tabernacle Cemetery near Lynchburg, directed by Floyd Funeral Home of Olanta. The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside. Born in Lynchburg, he was a son of the late Junious Woodrow Kinlaw and Blonnie Amerson Kinlaw. He was the owner of Kinlaw Grocery for over fourty years, and was a beloved "Papa" to Adair, Grant, and Mary Louise. He was preceded in death by a sister, Linda K. Lawhon; and a brother, William O'Dell Atkinson. Surviving are two sons, Allen (Dana) Kinlaw, Jr. of Columbia, and Glenn (Mary) Kinlaw of Sardinia; a sister, Marth Ann Effler of Sumter; two brothers, Thomas Wayne Kinlaw, and Kenneth Wyman Kinlaw both of Lynchburg; three grandchildren.
