Alma Lou Floyd Scranton Alma Lou Floyd, age 83, died April 16, 2012 at Lake City Scranton Healthcare after an illness. Funeral services will be held at 1 pm, Thursday, April 19, 2012 at Floyd Funeral Home with burial at Floyd Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery, directed by Floyd Funeral Home of Olanta. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service at 11 am at the funeral home. Born in Florence County, she was a daughter of the late Dave Turner Hickman and Julia Mae Feagin Hickman. Mrs. Floyd was retired Seamstress, enjoyed yard sales, and especially loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Coneila Hickman and Leona Hickman. Two brothers, Ernest Hickman and David Hickman. Surviving are two daughters, Linda Teal and Barbara Price both of Sumter. One son, J.D. Floyd of Scranton. Three sisters, Myrtle (Bob) Sory of Sumter, Adelle (Elden) Lee of Charleston, and Rosa Nell (Reese) Chandler of Olanta. One brother, Edward Hickman of Sumter. Ten grandchildren, twenty three great grandchildren. Special niece, Mae Geddings. The family would like to thank the nursing staff at Lake City Scranton Healthcare and Barbara Ann Floyd.
