Alpha C. "Nick" Coker

Alpha C. "Nick" Coker Turbeville Mr. Alpha C. "Nick" Coker age 89, died Saturday, April 17, 2010 at a Florence hospital after an illness. Funeral services will be held at 4pm Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at Pine Dale Pentecostal Holiness Church with burial in the church cemetery, directed by FLOYD FUNERAL HOME, INC. of Olanta. Visitation will be held from 6-8 Monday, April 19, 2010 at Pine Dale Pentecostal Holiness Church in Turbeville. Born in Clarendon County he was the son of the late Weston Neal Coker and Maggie Driggers Coker. Mr. Coker was a retired farmer and a member of Pine Dale Pentecostal Holiness Church. He was preceded in death by his wife; Eleafere Welch Coker, an infant grandson; Teddy Coker, a grandson-in-law; Stacy Moody, three sisters; Pearl McKenzie, Lillian Miles and Omega Thigpen, three brothers; Whiteford Coker, Albert Coker and Cecil Coker. He is survived by one son; Perry (Suzanne) Coker of Turbeville. Three grandchildren; Lynn (Marvin) Geddings, Robin Moody, Rebecca Coker all of Turbeville. Three great-grandchildren; Joshua Geddings, Cole Moody and Hannah Moody of Turbeville. A special thanks to the nurses and staff of Agape Hospice of the Pee Dee, Dr. Kate Smith and staff, also Dawn Coker, caregiver.
