Anna Ruth Floyd Lake City - Anna Ruth Carter Floyd age 73, died August 10, 2020 In a Anderson hospital after an illness. Ruth was born in Florence County, a daughter of the late Barney Edward Carter and Catherine Applewhite Carter. She was a former paramedic with Florence County E.M.S. and was former owner of Exam One. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Eric Floyd, Sr., two brothers, Barney Edward Carter, Jr., and Miles Sherman Carter. Surviving are two sons, Dr. Gene Eric ( Dr. Bridgett Seagroves)Floyd, Jr. of Abbeville, S.C., and Kevin Darrell (Megan)Floyd of Florence, a brother, James "Jimmy" Foster (Claudia) Carter of Lakeport. Fl, nine grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday August 17, 2020 at Lake City Memorial Park. Due to covid 19 pandemic social distancing and use of masks is encouraged.
