Anna M. Joye Olanta - Anna M. Joye, age 81, died March 21, 2012 in a Florence nursing facility after an illness. Funeral services will be held at 4 o'clock PM Friday March 23, 2012 at Floyd Funeral Home Chapel in Olanta with burial in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2 PM until just prior to the service at the funeral home. Born in Florence County, she was a daughter of the late Winston Matthews and Juanita Jordan Matthews. She was a legal secretary and retired from the The Citizens Bank. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church where she was formerly very active. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Benjamin Joye, Sr., and a brother, Chester Matthews. Surviving are a daughter, Angie (Jay) Smaldone of Florence. A son, T.J. (Ginger) Joye, Jr. of Lake City. A step-daughter, Dottie (Jimmy) Marlow of Peachtree City, Georgia. A step-son, Ronnie (Glenda) Joye of Sumter. Eleven grandchildren.
