New Zion - Annie Coker Morris age 91, passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at her home after an illness. Funeral services will be held at 3pm, Saturday, January 13, 2018 at McKenzie Tabernacle Pentecostal Holiness Church with burial in the church cemetery, directed by Floyd Funeral Home of Olanta. The family will receive friends from 1 - 3 PM Saturday at the church prior to the service. Born in the Hebron Community of Williamsburg County, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Carlton Coker and Olive Eugenia Gibbons Coker, and was a member of McKenzie Tabernacle Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Cleveland "A.C." Morris; a daughter, Brenda Fulton; a granddaughter, Melissa Ann McElveen; three brothers, and eight sisters. Surviving are three daughters; Delores (Gordon) McElveen, and Paula Coker both of New Zion, and Naomi (Leo) Carmichael of Hemingway; a son, Cleve (Nancy) Morris of Cades; ten grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, one step-granddaughter,and three step-great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank Agape Hospice of Manning, especially Karen Yates, and "Miss" Lilly, for their devoted care.
