Annie Lou Hughes Shores, age 67, died Friday, May 15, 2020 at McLeod Regional Medical Center after an illness. A graveside service will be held at 3pm Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at Matthews Cemetery, near Coward, Floyd Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Born in Florence County she was the daughter of the late Sydney Lenair Hughes and Lelia Mae Pate Avant Hughes. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Del' Carlos Shores; one niece, Krystal Hughes; two nephews, Adam Hughes and Quinn Hughes. She is survived by one daughter, Christal Shores; two sons, Rex Rogers (Crystal), Del'Carlos Shores, Jr.; two sisters, Emma Hughes (Ronnie), Donette Hughes; two brothers, Donald Hughes, Sidney L. "SL"Hughes. Jr.; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
