Aszelea P. Wilkes Scranton Aszelea P. Wilkes, age 62, died Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at her residence in Scranton after an illness. A Service will be held at 2pm Friday, January 6, 2012 at Floyd Funeral Home Chapel in Olanta with burial at Lee Cemetary in Scranton. Visitation will be from 6-8 Thursday night, January 5, 2012 at the funeral home. Aszelea Wilkes was born in Williamsburg County. She was the daughter Franklin Luther Powell and Olivi Smith Powell. She was a homemaker and was self-employed. She was preceded in death by a brother, Wiggie Smith; and a Great-Grandchild, Kelsey Weaver. She is survived by her husband, Jack Wilkes , Sr.; three daughters, Tammy (Mark) McAllister of Lake City, Cindy (Jamie) Hickman of Scranton, Leann (Chris) Flagler of Coward; one son, Jack Wilkes Jr. of Scranton; seven sisters and one brother; five Grandchildren, Jackie Weaver of Effingham, Michael Buddin of Turbeville, Jordan Wilkes, Emme Wilkes and Kayle Wilkes all of Scranton.
