Obituary Beth M. Smith Olanta - Beth M. Smith age 64, died June 28, 2020 in a Florence hospital after an illness. A graveside service will be held at 4 PM Wednesday July 1, 2020 at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery with Covid 19 precautions and social distancing in place. A family visitation will be held from 2 - 3:45 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Smith was born in Concord, N.C., a daughter of the late Billy Lester Milam and Hazel Hendron Milam. She was a homemaker and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a brother, Eric Milam. Surviving are her husband, Rev. Michael David Smith of Olanta, three sons, Todd Smith and Neal Smith both of Olanta, Brad (Shannon) Smith of Kannapolis, N. C., two daughters, Ashley (Dennis) Gulledge of Midland, N.C., and Miranda (Timmy) Whetsell of Kingstree, S.C..
