Beulah Mae Evans New Zion Mrs. Beulah Mae Evans age 78, died September 27, 2013 after an illness. Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock PM Monday at Floyd Funeral Home Chapel in Olanta with burial in New Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 - 8 PM Sunday, and other times at the home of Lynn and Marlene Driggers, 10786 Puddin Swamp Rd., Turbeville, S. C. 29162. Born in Florence County, she was a daughter of the late Henry J. McKenzie and Ethel Yarborough McKenzie. Mrs. Evans was a seamstress, and attended New Hope Christian Church and New Beginning Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mack Charles Evans, daughters, Darlene Evans and Maxine Evans, and a son, Kenneth Evans. Surviving are three daughters, Donna (Carl) Miles and Lisa (Terry) Byrd both of Lake City, Marlene (Lynn) Driggers of Turbeville, two sons, Jack (Linda) Evans of Sumter, and Michael (Wendy) Evans of New Zion, a sister, Jackie (Samuel) Floyd of Lake City. 20 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
