Bill Welch Turbeville - Bill Welch age 67, died January 24, 2017 from injuries sustained in a automobile accident. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday at New Covenant Pentecostal Holiness Church with burial in Pine Dale Cemetery directed by Floyd Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6 - 8 PM Friday at the funeral home. Born in Clarendon County, he was a son of the late Jake Welch and Hester Ann Atkinson Welch. Mr. Welch was employed as a construction worker with Palmetto Paving and attended New Covenant Church. He was preceded in death by brothers, Lonnie Welch, Coker Welch, Marshall Welch, Glen Welch, Charlie Welch and J.W. Welch. A son in law,Jason McCathern. Surviving are his wife, Alta Faye Floyd Welch of Turbeville, a daughter, Tillena Welch of Turbeville, two sons, Bill L. (Charrish) Welch of Turbeville, and Tillmon Pat (April) Welch of Hemmingway, two brothers, Tom Welch of Lake City and Jack Welch of Sumter.
