Bobby Dudley Welch

Bobby Dudley Welch, age 65, of Turbeville passed away Friday December 25, 2020 at his home. Bobby was born in New Zion, South Carolina to the late Jack and Eleanor Beard Welch. He was a loving Husband, Father, Papa, Poppy, and Pop. He was owner/operator of Bodawel Trucking and was a dedicated truck driver for over 25 years. He loved the Lord, his family, was a friend to all. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Dannie Faye McLaughlin Welch; son, Shad Welch (Beth); daughters, Tiffany Danielle Welch Green (Curtis) and Irelyn 'Doodle Bug' Welch; sisters, Oleta Rogers and Shirley Welch; brother, Theron 'Tink' Welch; special sibling by marriage, Tony McLaughlin (Judy), Chris McLaughlin (Brenda), and Daisy Cooke; grandchildren, Lacey Green, Ella Welch, Abby 'Sue Sue' Welch, Londyn Welch, Eric Green, Eli Welch, Amelia Welch, Cale Green, and Charlotte Welch; great-granchild, Braelynn Locklier; special grands, Carlie, Gage, and Holden; many nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held Tuesday December 29, 2020 from 2pm to 3pm at Turbeville Southern Methodist Church with the service to follow. In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to Turbeville Children's Home (5232 W Turbeville Hwy, Turbeville, SC 29162). Floyd Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
