Brandi Lynn Osmundson

Brandi Lynn Osmundson, 48, of Hartsville, SC, passed away unexpectedly on May 15, 2024. She was predeceased by her parents, Julia Osmundson Griggs and Jerry Lee Osmundson Sr. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her brothers, Jerry (Laura) Osmundson of Timmonsville, SC and Joseph Osmundson of Patrick, SC. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews, Courtney Osmundson, Ryan Osmundson, Emily Osmundson, Breanna Osmundson (Zach) McKnight, Alex Osmundson, Olivia Osmundson, and Andy Osmundson, and her stepfather Michael Griggs, as well as many more family members and friends who loved Brandi. Brandi was the youngest of three, and the only girl, making her tough as nails. As a child she loved the outdoors and being in nature. She would spend hours swimming or playing with her dog Strider. She loved her brothers and often gave advice to them on girls and dating, including a push in the right direction from time to time. She was a larger-than-life individual and if you knew her you would know that she stood up for herself and for others. She always stood her ground and never backed down from what she believed. If you were her friend, that meant something because relationships meant the world to Brandi. She loved her family and relished listening to everything they were up to. She had no children of her own, so she enjoyed hearing about her nieces and nephews and what they were doing with their lives. Brandi found beauty in the mundane and ordinary, things we tend to overlook in our fast-paced lives. Brandi will be missed dearly but her memory and life lessons will never be forgotten. “Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was; and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it” (Ecclesiastes 12:7). A graveside service will be held 11am on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at New Piney Grove Church Cemetery (1093 Piney Grove Road, Lake City, SC). Floyd Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
