Byron Luther Mcfaddin

Byron L. McFaddin New Zion Byron Luther McFaddin, age 76, died Thursday, February 9, 2012 at his residence after an illness. Funeral services will be held 4pm Sunday, February 12, 2012 at Floyd Funeral Home Chapel, with visitation from 2-4pm prior to the service. Burial will be in Thomas Cemetery, directed by Floyd Funeral Home. Born in Clarendon County, he was a son of the late Hasell Lugene McFaddin and Rosa Lillian Thomas McFaddin. He was retired from Korn Industry of Sumter and was a member of Frierson Tabernacle. Mr. McFaddin was preceded in death by two brothers, Ray McFaddin and Fred McFaddin. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Mae McKenzie McFaddin of the home. A daughter, Rita Matthews of New Zion. A son, Dalton (Cheryl) McFaddin of Lake City. A sister, Carrie L. Thigpen of Cades. A brother, Benjamin McFaddin of Columbia. Three grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a close friend, Joshua Rothwell. The family would like to thank McLeod Hospice for the care they provided.
