Carolyn Dennis Robinson

OLANTA – Carolyn Dennis Robinson, 87, entered her eternal rest on Sunday, June 12, 2022, at McLeod Health Clarendon. Born December 11, 1934, she was a daughter of the late William Ollie Dennis and the late Eula Mae Player Dennis. She attended Eastside Baptist Church. For many years she was employed with the Turbeville IGA as a stocker and customer service associate. She is survived by four brothers, W.C. Dennis (Sharon) and W.O. Dennis both of Scranton, Bobby Jo Dennis of Stockbridge, GA, and Frank Dennis of Homestead, FL; three sisters, Maurice Gibbons (Glenn) of New Zion, Diane Williamson (Cabbage) of Kingstree, and Cindy McGee (Tommy) of Ridgeway, SC; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her 1st husband, Earl Coker; her 2nd husband, Douglas Robinson; five brothers, Earl Dennis, Leroy Dennis, Tony Dennis, Lavon Dennis, and Roger Dennis; four sisters, Barbara Ann Hodge, Doris Fay Dennis, Ollie Mae Morris, and Tootsie Ardis. A funeral service will be held 11am on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, in the chapel of Floyd Funeral Home with Rev. Pete Mixon officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Dale Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service at the Funeral Home.
