Catherine E. Welch Turbeville Catherine Elaine Welch, age 61, died at McLeod Regional Hospital April 23, 2020 after an illness. A graveside service will be held Saturday, April 25, 2020 at Pine Dale Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery in Turbeville, directed by Floyd Funeral Home Born in Florence County she was a daughter of the late Valsor Floyd and Eliza Ellen Miles Floyd. She was a homemaker, was a born again Christian, and was of the Pentecostal Holiness Faith. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Ola Mae Wilkes, Dorothy Nell Christmas, Annie R. Fields; two brothers, Homer Floyd, and V. J. Floyd. She is survived her husband, Francis Lagrea Welch; two sons, Dean Wade (Tamara) Welch, Derrick Lagrea (Lynn) Welch all of Turbeville; four sisters, Dale (Marion) Hayes of Socastee, Rhunette (Jimmy Lee) Feagin of Kingstree, Joyce (Leon) Sanders of Darlington, Wanda (Elbert) Stewart of Scranton; two brothers, Bobby (Willow Lee) Floyd of Kingstree, Timmons (Maryann) Floyd of Florence; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
