Cecil Jackson Frierson

OLANTA – Cecil Jackson Frierson, 81, husband of Jeanette Frierson, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at his residence. Born January 22, 1940, in Kingstree, he was a son of the late James Cecil Frierson and the late Christine King Frierson. He was a mechanic and retired from Riverside Electric. He is survived by his wife of forty one years; one son, Barrie J. Frierson of Kingstree; one daughter, Sara Frierson of Columbia; two sisters-in-law, Sheryl McKenzie (Earl) of Rock Hill and Kay Frierson of Kingstree; and eight nieces and nephews, Dawn Ivey (Jim), Misty Foster, Chad Frierson (Natalie), Zach Frierson (Tara), Sabrina Singletary (Jason), Angela Williams (Chris), Bridget Tinker (Michael), and Shannon Shirley (Matt). He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Richard Frierson and Leslie Frierson.
