Turbeville Charlton Rhett Coker, Jr age 58, died May 26, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 5pm Monday, May 29, 2017 at The Turbeville Southern Methodist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM Sunday May 28, 2017 at Floyd Funeral Home. Born in Sumter County, he was a son of the late Charlton Rhett Coker, Sr., and Shirley Dennis Coker. He was a retired EMS Paramedic from Clarendon County, and a member of The Turbeville Southern Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Janet Palicka Coker of the home; two daughters, Deanna Coker Baird (Lee Gibbons), Amanda Coker (Brent) Sullivan all of Turbeville; three sons, John Patrick (Lorre) Coker, Charlton Rhett Coker, III all of Turbeville, Phillip Michael (Lindsey) Coker of New Zion; two sisters, Drena (John) Courson of Ridgeville, Denise (Chuck) Anderson of Manning; six grandchildren, Lillie Blakelyn Coker, Allie Keith Coker, Ander Sullivan and Aubree Sullivan, Rivers Baird, Annabelle Coker, and one granddaughter due in July, Ava Charlton Sullivan.
