Claudia L. Mellette Scranton Claudia Lee Mellette, age 78, passed away Friday, May 4, 2012 at The Carriage House of Hartsville, after an illness. A service will be held at 2pm Monday, May 7, 2012 at Salem Free Will Baptist Church with burial at Lake City Memorial Cemetery, directed by Floyd Funeral Home of Olanta. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 1pm at the church. Mrs. Claudia L. Mellette was born in Florence County daughter of the late Joseph Laten Lee and Illa Rose Lynch. She was a homemaker and a member of Salem Free Will Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Robert Mellette. She is survived by two daughters, Debbie Mellette of Las Vegas, Nevada, Joanne (Bill) Robertson of Darlington; one grand-daughter, Christy Mellette of Florence; one sister, Mary Matthews of Scranton; one brother, Robert McDougal of Lake City.
