Cora Lee Floyd Thigpen Mrs. Cora Lee Floyd Thigpen, age 90, of Marietta, Georgia, Lexington, SC and formerly of Olanta, SC died Tuesday, December 20, 2011 after an illness. Funeral services will be 3pm, Thursday, December 22, 2011 at Floyd Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Olanta Baptist Church Cemetery, directed by Floyd Funeral Home. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the funeral service at the funeral home. Born in Clarendon County, she was a daughter of the late Legare Floyd and Margaret Olive Conyers Floyd. Mrs. Thigpen was a member of Olanta Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Curtis R. Floyd. Second husband, Cecil E. Thigpen. Daughter, Patricia G. Pearson. Son, Leonard C. Floyd. Surviving are a daughter, Elvera (Everett) Tomlinson of Marietta, Georgia. A son, Terry (Linda) Floyd of Lexington, S.C. Six grandchildren, Jeff (Tami) Floyd of Lexington, Todd Floyd of Euharlee, Georgia, Chris Tomlinson and Chad (Sonya) Tomlinson both of Woodstock, Georgia, Belinda (Jimmy) Jacobs and Tony Pearson both of Fayettville, North Carolina. Five great grandchildren, Cody Tomlinson, Tarra Tomlinson, Chase Tomlinson, Brice Tomlinson, Jordan Floyd and Peyton Floyd.
