TIMMONSVILLE – Curtis Wallace Llewellyn, 83 entered into his eternal rest on Thursday, October 31, 2024 at the Lake Moultrie Health and Rehabilitation Center in St. Stephens, SC. Born December 1, 1940, he was a son of the late William Thomas Llewellyn and the late Mary Ellen Laffiday Thomas. He was a former employee of Tyler Plywood Corporation in Florence, SC. Curtis was a lifelong learner. He is survived by his brother, Paul Llewellyn of Goose Creek, SC; one brother-in-law, Harold Ward; two sisters in law, Phyllis Llewellyn and Ruby Teal; and lots of nieces and nephews. Curtis was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, George Llewellyn, Clyde Llewellyn, Jerry Llewellyn, and Frank Llewellyn; one sister, Nell Llewellyn Ward; and a sister-in-Law, Joyce Llewellyn. A graveside service will be held 1pm on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at the Bay Branch Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery, 1406 W. Smith Street, Timmonsville, SC 29161. The family wishes that no flowers be sent, instead please make a donation to the charity of one’s choice in Curtis’ memory. The family would like to express their deep appreciation to Laura and Bethany for the many rides to the bank, Walmart, doctor’s appointments, etc. Floyd Funeral Home of Olanta, SC is in charge of the care and arrangements for Curtis.
