Turbeville - Daisy McKenzie Driggers, age 80, wife of Sammie Martin Driggers, entered into her eternal rest on Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born August 6, 1942, in Clarendon County, she was the daughter of the late Byrd McKenzie and Bell Welch McKenzie. She had a generous spirit and a heart for helping others. She loved her Savior, loved her family, and loved all children. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, two sons, Mark (Kim) Driggers of Turbeville and Blake (Pam) Driggers of Manning; five grandchildren, Mary Kathryn (Brett) Inman, Maggie (Andrew) Donaldson, Kirby Driggers, Camille (Alex) Crawford, and Hanna Driggers; five great-grandchildren, Keaton Inman, Cade Inman, James Donaldson, Jaxon Crawford and Linleigh Crawford; two sisters, Mary Chavis (Walter) of Georgetown, Judy M. Welch of Turbeville; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Bryan Martin Driggers; five brothers, Harold McKenzie, J.D. McKenzie, Joe McKenzie, Jimmy McKenzie, and David McKenzie; and two sisters, Carolyn Joyce Applebee and Ina Mae Mims. A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, July 8, 2023, at Horse Branch Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive guests following the service at the cemetery.
