Daniel Floyd Turbeville Daniel Floyd, age 58, died Thursday, September 20, 2012 at Clarendon Memorial Hospital in Manning, South Carolina. A service will be held at 3pm Monday, September 24, 2012 at The Turbeville Southern Methodist Church in Turbeville, directed by Floyd Funeral Home of Olanta. Visitation will be held from 1-3pm prior to the service at the church. Born in Lake City, South Carolina he was a son of the late Willie Nelson Floyd and Vileta Powell Floyd. He was a member of the carpenters Union. He is survived by his spouse, Theresa Thompson of the home; three daughters, Christy Ann Floyd Irace of Carbon Dale, Ill., Jennifer Thompson of Turbeville, SC, Amy Prater of Lockport, Ill.; two sons, Jason Floyd of Cape Coral, Fla., Nicholas Thompson of Suffolk, Virginia; one brother, Willie Floyd of Chicago Ill.; four grandchildren.
