David Dwaine Floyd

OLANTA – Mr. David Dwaine Floyd, 64 of Olanta, entered his eternal rest on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at MUSC Hospital Florence. Born September 7, 1959 in Timmonsville, SC he was a son of the late Clemus Horace Floyd and the late Myrtle Evelyn Coker Floyd. He attended Olanta Church of God of Prophecy. He is survived by four sons, Kenneth Dwaine (Janna Marie) Floyd of Pawleys Island, David Mark (Megan Lynn) Floyd and Clemus Matthew (Tina Grace) Floyd all of Olanta, and Joey Rembert Floyd of Lynchburg; nine grandchildren; two sisters, Connie Mixon and Robin (Junior) Foxworth all of Lake City; four brothers, Wylie (Christine) Floyd of Cades, Raymond Floyd and Rembert Floyd all of Lake City, and Richard Floyd of Sumter; and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and many loved ones. A memorial service will be held 6:30pm on Friday, May 10, 2024, at the Olanta Fire Station, 3505 Olanta Highway, Olanta.
