David Douglas Hickman Lynchburg David Douglas "Doug" Hickman age 59, passed away Saturday, November 26, 2016 at McLeod Hospice House in Florence. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at Grace Free Will Baptist Church in Lake City, with burial at Old Piney Grove Church Cemetery in the Barrineau community, directed by Floyd Funeral Home of Olanta. Visitation will be from 6 -8 PM Monday, November 28, 2016 at the funeral home. Born in Charleston he was a son of Vivian Welch Hickman of Coward and the late David Junior Hickman. He was a sewing machine repairman and worked at Zimac's Incorporated. He is survived by his wife, Gayle Odom Hickman of Lynchburg; one son, David Keith (Crystal) Hickman of Valdese, NC; two step-sons, David (Julie) Baker of Brooklyn, NY, Wade (Victoria) Baker of Nashville, TN; one sister, Darlene (Kel) Vause of Swansea; one brother, Dean (Michelle) Hickman of Scranton.
