Deborah Ann Fox

EFFINGHAM Deborah Ann Siptroth Fox, passed away on Friday, December 1, 2023, at MUSC Florence. She was born May 18, 1955, in Florence, SC a daughter of Ruby Oliver DuRant and the late Frank Siptroth. She attended Compassion Church and loved to play Bingo. She is survived by her mother, Ruby Oliver DuRant of Florence; her step-mother, Sandra Siptroth of Darlington; three children, Donna (Glenn) Baxley, Marsha (Lance) Lachgar, and Johnny (Shele) Bochette all of Effingham; six grandchildren, Anna (Josh) Dellinger, Sarah (Daniel) Isgett, Emily Bochette (Shawna Lair), Justin Bochette, Adam Lachgar, and Nadia Lachgar; three great-grandchildren, Wade Isgett, Marlena Dellinger, and McCoy Dellinger; Sisters, Frankie (Curtis) Nealey, Myrtle (Seth) Edward, Karen (Kelvin) Young all of Florence and Stacy Hayes of Darlington; brothers, Frank (Tabatha) DuRant, Brad (Krystal) DuRant both of Florence, Philip Siptroth and John Siptroth both of Florida, Dana (Lori) Sherwood of Maine, Michael (Janette) Colby of New Jersey, Craig (Krista) Colby and Mark (Judi) Juckniewitz all of Pennsylvania, Paul (Cyn) DeMerchant of Canada. She was preceded in death by her father; her step-father, Kenneth DuRant; her children’s father, Larry Bochette; her paternal grandparents, Paul & Myrtle Siptroth; her maternal grandparents, Sidney & Bessie Oliver; one brother, Sidney Siptroth; one sister, Kim Sherwood; nieces, Jordyn DuRant, Carla Nealey; and nephews, Brandon Hudson, Colby Siptroth, and Shane Colby. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 3pm on Sunday, December 10, 2023, in the chapel of Floyd Funeral Home with Rev. Myers Graham officiating.
