Delores Lee Springs FLORENCE - Delores Lee Springs, 82, died Saturday, June 9, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 12, at Unity Christian Fellowship Church. The Rev. Mendel Stalvey will officiate with burial in Matthews Cemetery, Coward, SC directed by Floyd Funeral Home of Olanta. Mrs. Springs was born in Scranton, S.C., a daughter of the late Jimmie Lee and Hattie Matthews Lee. She was predeceased by her husband, Troy Springs, who died in 1969, brothers, Robert Lee of Scranton and Buster Lee of Florence. Surviving are her five children: two daughters, Jeri (Rodger) Hatchell of Florence and Carol (Jerry) Hayes of Scranton; three sons, Morrell (Marie) Springs of Florence, Danny Springs of Timmonsville, and Wayne (Joyce) Lee of Scranton; grandchildren, Ashley (Jason) Tarlton and Dusty Springs of Timmonsville, Amie Hayes of Myrtle Beach, Jeremy (LeeAnn) Hayes of Scranton, Jason Springs of Los Gatos, California, Julie (Robert) LeMaster and Dr. Jeffrey (Kerrie) Hatchell of Florence. and Benji Lee of Charleston, S.C.; in addition, she was blessed with seven wonderful great-grandsons: Wyatt and Dylan Tarlton, Luke and Seth LeMaster, Troy and Levi Hayes, and Jacob Hatchell. Pallbearers will be Alfred Gaymon, Michael Lambert, Orell Lee, Buddy Lynch, Jerry Sims, and Glenn Yarborough.
