Dexter Mcghan Lee Sr.

Timmonsville - Dexter McGhan Lee, Sr. age 83, died March 11, 2018 in a Florence hospital after an illness. Funeral services will be held at 1 o'clock PM Wednesday March 14, 2018 at Unity Christian Fellowship with burial in Matthews Cemetery, directed by Floyd Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6 - 8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Born in Florence County, he was a son of the late Lura D. Lee and Travis Stanley Lee. He was a retired U. S. Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War, a member of the V.F. W., the D.A.V. Chapter 11, retired carpenter/cabinet maker, and was a member of Calvary Pentecostal Holiness Church. He was preceded in death by sisters, Lynette McClam and Audrey Mae Knotts, brothers, L.D. Lee, Joe Lee, and Lavelle "Buddy" Lee. Surviving are his wife, Faye Myers Lee of Timmonsville, a daughter, Gilda Lee of Florence, a son, Dexter McGhan ( Diane) Lee, Jr. of Florence, a sister, Valeria Revell of Timmonsville, a brother Orell (Suzane) Lee of Timmonsville, two grandchildren, Ciara Lee of Darlington and Zach Lee of Florence.
