TURBEVILLE – Dianne Calcutt Dennis, age 80, wife of Charlton E. Dennis passed away on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at her residence. Born March 15, 1941, in Pamplico, she was a daughter of the late Doland Leo Calcutt and the late Christine Hyman Calcutt. She was retired from the garment industry and was a member of Pine Grove United Methodist Church. She loved to plant and care for her flowers. She and Charlton enjoyed square dancing for many years. She is survived by her husband of 58 years;one brother, Roger Calcutt (Deborah) of Sumter; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Betty Jo Calcutt Johnson and Shirley Goude; and a very dear friend, Mary Ruth Green. A graveside funeral service will be held 1 pm on Friday, October 15, 2021, at Olive Grove Church Cemetery with Rev. Nick Lylerly and Arthur McElveen officiating. The family will receive guest following the service in the fellowship hall of Olive Grove Church and at other times at the home 3742 Puddin Swamp Road, Turbeville. The family request that memorials be made to Pine Grove United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 144, Turbeville, SC 29162 or The Parkinson’s Foundation 200 SE 1st Street, Ste 800, Miami, FL 33131.
