Donna F. Phillips, 63, died Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at her home. Born October 25, 1959, in Williamsburg County, she was the daughter of Faye Carolyn Kirby McCutchen and James David Phillips. If you knew Donna, you knew that her love for golf, Clemson football, and her family were endless. She was happy as long as she was working, on the golf course, grilling out on the deck with her dog, Birdie, and being with friends and family. Donna had a tender heart and loved her family and special loved one immensely. Survivors include three brothers, Walter Phillips, Tommy (Gwen) Phillips of Cades, and Chad (Tara) McCutchen of Orangeburg; two half-sisters, Brenda (Roger) England of Georgetown, Belinda (Lonnie) Rodgers of Scranton; three nieces, Kirby Phillips (Ricky) Poole of Turbeville, Alicia (EJ) Flowers of Cades, and Naomi McCutchen of Orangeburg; one nephew, Charlie McCutchen of Orangeburg; two “daughters”, Cate Cooper, and Rachel (Lee) Fleck of Greenville; two beautiful grandchildren, Thatcher, and Dennis Fleck; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Ronald Wayne “Dick” McCutchen. We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Amedisys Hospice and nurse Nidia. The kindness and love you’ve shown Donna over the past few months have been so appreciated. Marta, Iris, and Sarah, we are so grateful to you and for all you did for Donna in her last days.
