Dorothy Pierce Collins Olanta Dorothy Pierce Collins age 94, died September 3, 2016 after an illness. Funeral services will be held at 4 PM Tuesday at Bethany Free Will Baptist Church directed by Floyd Funeral Home, with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2 o'clock until the time of service in the church sanctuary. Born in Florence County, she was a daughter of the late Erby B. Pierce and Lovie Vause Pierce. She was a retired textile inspector and was a member of Bethany Free Will Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Edward Pierce and Billy Pierce. Surviving are three sons, Lucius C. (Sara) McKenzie of Sumter, Larry Oneil McKenzie of Darlington and Robert "Bob" (Rachel) McKenzie of Florence, two sisters, Nina Milton "Bill" Vause of Olanta and Margie Lorene Lee of Coward, a brother, Rev. James Allard (Ruth) Pierce of Timmonsville, twelve grandchildren and twenty-five great-grandchildren.
