Downey R. Coward Timmonsville Mr. Downey Ray Coward, age 61 passed away Friday, November 16, 2012 at his residence after an illness. A graveside service will be held at 11 am Monday, November 19, 2012 at Unity Christian Church Cemetery, Timmonsville. The family will receive friends and family at the home of Phil Coward, 3433 Olanta Hwy, Timmonsville, SC. Born in Florence County he was a son of the late Rev. Joseph W. Coward and Blanche P. Coward. He served in the United States Army and was a retired truck driver. He was preceded in death by a brother, George "Tiney" Coward. He is survived by a daughter Wendy Christmas; a brother, Phil Coward; two grandchildren, Daniel Brown and Hannah Christmas. Memorials may be made to Unity Christian Church.
