Dwight Dickens Wilson

OLANTA – Dwight Dickens Wilson, 77, husband of Barbara Walker Wilson, passed away on Thursday, November 18, 2021, at Prisma Health Tuomey. Born May 3, 1944, in Atkinson, NC, he was a son of the late Dwight Clemnhue Wilson and the late Agnes Dickens Wilson. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Olanta, served in the National Guard, and was retired from Campbell Soup Company. He is survived by his wife of 24 years; and two sons, Leon “Ray” Wilson of Olanta and Jeffrey Lewis Wilson of Turbeville. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Dwight D. Wilson; and one brother, Jimmy Wilson. A graveside funeral service will be held 2 P.M. on Sunday, November 21, 2021, in the Olanta Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
