Edith Melton Parker Lake City - Edith Melton Parker age 81, died March 2, 2018 after an illness. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock PM Tuesday March 6, 2018 at Floyd Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Floyd Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at Floyd Funeral Home. Mrs. Parker was born in Williamsburg County, a daughter of the late Wallace Melton and Vernie Parker Melton. She was a homemaker and attended McKenzie Tabernacle Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband, James Bryant, her second husband, David Daniel Parker, Sisters, Nancy Ann Floyd and Viler Nesmith, brothers, Liston Melton, Lafayette "Fate" Melton, and Foster Melton. She is survived by a daughter, Deann (Kent) Floyd of Lake City, grandchildren, Victoria Floyd, Donovan Floyd, and Blaine Floyd.
