Robert Edward Johnson Shiloh - Robert Edward Johnson age 72, died August 6, 2017 in a Florence hospital after a brief illness. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday August 8, at Shiloh United Methodist Church with burial in the church cemetery directed by Floyd Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 PM Monday at the funeral home in Olanta. Born in Sumter County, he was a son of the late Robert James Johnson and Mava Green Johnson. He was a retired farmer, a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church, and was a founding member of The Sportsman's Hunting Club. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Rob Ard, brothers, Van Johnson and Jerry Johnson, a brother-in-law, George Beasley, and nephews, Bradley Johnson and Jeremy Johnson. Surviving are his wife, Annette Driggers Johnson of Shiloh; daughters, Lisa (Ike) Ard, Michelle Johnson, and Diedra (Joseph) Hatchell all of Shiloh; a son, Robbie Johnson of Charleston; a sister, Dora Jean Beasley of Bishopville; sisters-in-law, Becky Johnson and Lisa (Les) Scott both of Shiloh; brothers, James (Jean) Johnson, Larry (Elizabeth) Johnson, and Terry (Beverly) Johnson all of Shiloh; brother-in-law, William (Lisa) Driggers of Turbeville; grandchildren, Douglas Ard, William Ard, Kinsey Hatchell and Joey Hatchell; a host of nieces and nephews; special friends, Clay Thomason and Erica Stone.
