Ella Welch Turbeville Mrs. Ella Welch age 87, died Monday, April 18, 2011 at her residence after an illness. Funeral services will be held 3pm Thursday, April 21, 2011 at Pine Dale Pentecostal Holiness Church with burial in the church cemetery, directed by Floyd Funeral Home of Olanta. Visitation will be held from 6-8 (tonight) Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at the church. Born in Clarendon County she was a daughter of the late Henry Beard and Suzanna Floyd Beard. Mrs. Welch was a retired Seamstress, a Member of Pine Dale Pentecostal Holiness Church and the Adult Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her husband, June Welch. One son; J. B. Welch. Three sisters; Nita Atkinson, Lena Welch and Effie Beard. Two brothers, Brady Beard and Tim Beard. One grand-daughter, Tammy Roberson. One grandson, Kelton Coker. One great-granddaughter, Amy Welch. Surviving are her two daughters, Beatrice (James) McGee of Turbeville and Elloree (Kelly) Coker of Lake City. Five grandchildren, Eleven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. The family would like to thank Jennifer Gibbons Beasley for the care and special attention that she provided to our mother.
