Ernest Lee Effingham Ernest Lee age 94, passed away Sunday February 22, 2015 at a Florence hospital after an illness. Funeral services will be held at 3 PM Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at Calvary Pentecostal Holiness Church with burial at Garden of Memories Cemetery near Florence, directed by Floyd Funeral Home of Olanta. Visitation will be held Tuesday (tonight) from 6-8 PM February 24, 2015 at the funeral home. Born in Florence County, he was a son of the late Pink Lee and Bessie Strickland Lee. He was retired from Vulcraft, a retired farmer, and was a member of Calvary Pentecostal Holiness Church for over 50 years. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Celia Victoria Brown Lee, a daughter, Betty Welch, a son, Jerry Lee, and a daughter-in-law Barbara Lee. He is survived by three daughters, Janice (David) Oliver of Timmonsville, Ernestine (M. H.) Baker of New Zion, and Christine (Lester) Adams of Coward; six sons, Woodrow (Gail) Lee of Timmonsville, Robert Lee, Samuel Tex (Bonnie) Lee, and Terry (Petra) Lee all of Effingham, Allen Lee of Lake City, Gene (Patricia) Lee of Coward, one sister, Elene Patton of Florence, 23 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
