Ethel McCoy Yarborough Scranton Mrs. Ethel Yarborough, age 53, died Monday, December 20, 2010 in a Florence hospital after an illness. Funeral arrangements will be 11am, Friday, December 24, 2010 at Beulah Free Will Baptist Church with burial in Hicks Hill Cemetery, directed by Floyd Funeral Home of Olanta. The family will receive friends at the home at 2243 Old Creek Road, Scranton on Thursday, December 23, 2010. Born in Virginia, she was a daughter of Gladys Fuller McCoy and the late Joseph McCoy. Mrs. Yarborough attended Beulah Free Will Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a great mother to her children and a great "Nana" to her grandchildren, they meant the world to her. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Yarborough. A son, Brett Yarborough. A grandson, Jacoby Byrd. Surviving besides her mother of Scranton, is a daughter, Angel (Jason) Byrd of Coward. A son, Shawn (Missy) Yarborough of Scranton. A brother, Danny McCoy of Virginia. Four grandchildren, Bryson Yarborough, Ashlyn and Caitlyn Byrd.
