Evelyn Green Turbeville Mrs. Evelyn Green, age 91, died Tuesday, June 29, 2010 in a Conway hospital after an illness. Funeral services will be 11am, Thursday, July 1, 2010 at Turbeville Southern Methodist Church with burial in Pine Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery, directed by FLOYD FUNERAL HOME of Olanta. Visitation will be tonight (Wednesday) from 6-8pm at the funeral home. Born in Clarendon County, she was a daughter of the late George Allen Gibbons and Annie "Shuge" Gibbons Gibbons. She was a member of Turbeville Southern Methodist Church where she was a member of the Miriam Morris Sunday School Class and the Women's Missionary Society. Mrs. Green was preceded in death by her sister; Gladys Duke. Surviving are a son; Michael A. (Judith) Green of Conway. Two sisters; Lillian Kirby of Cades, S.C. and her twin sister, Vivian Rodgers of Cayce, S.C.. Two grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
