Frances "Fran" Lynch Welch

Turbeville - Mrs. Fran Welch, age 65, passed away Wednesday, November 5th, 2014 at McLeod Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be 7pm Friday, November 7th, 2014 at Maranatha Pentecostal Holiness Church, directed by Floyd Funeral Home of Olanta. The family will receive friends at the church two hours prior to the service. Born in Florence County, she was a daughter of the late Charlie Jefferson Lynch and Illa Flowers Lynch. Mrs. Welch was employed with Florence Neurological for over 23 years and was a member of Maranatha Pentecostal Holiness Church where she served as the Treasurer, worked with the children and organized the crafts. Surviving are her husband, Ray Welch of Turbeville. Three sisters, Doris Stone (Gene) of Pamplico, Agnes Powell of Lake City, and Donnell Osborne of Turbeville. Two brothers, Charles Lynch (Margaret) of Lake City and Rev. Allen Lynch (Barbara) of Turbeville. Two special daughters, Maura Arnold (Johnny) and Joni Moody (Lance).
