Fred Manley Johnson Timmonsville Rev. Fred Manley Johnson age 78, passed away Friday, May 30, 2014 at McLeod Regional Medical Center after an illness. A funeral service will be held at 3pm Monday, June 2, 2014 at Floyd Funeral Home Chapel, with burial at Bethany Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held at 1pm Monday just prior to the service. Born in Florence County he was a son of the late Manley James Johnson and Daisy Kirby Johnson. He was a retired Pastor having served in the ministry for 49 years. He also work at Vulcraft, Superior and was a member of Olanta Church of God of Prophecy. He was a loving husband for 55 years, a Father, loved God and witnessing, fishing and horses. He is preceded in death by one sister, Jessie Allen Oliver; one brother, Ed Louis Johnson. He is survived by his wife Blondell Langston Johnson; two daughters, Cathy (Clinton) Stroman, Bonnie (Jay) Franklin both of Timmonsville; two sons, Danny Ray (Felecia) Johnson, Billy Joe Johnson both of Timmonsville; ten grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
