Lake City Mrs. Polly Gladys Bryant, age 89, died April 3, 2012 at her home after an illness. Funeral services will be held 3pm, Friday, April 6, 2012 at Floyd Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church with burial in the church cemetery, directed by Floyd Funeral Home of Olanta. Visitation will be from 7 - 9pm, tonight (Thursday) at the church. Born in Clarendon County, she was a daughter of the late McCleo Culick and Sue Floyd Culick McGee. Mrs. Bryant was a member of Floyd Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Pearly Bryant. A son, P.K. Bryant. A son-in-law, J.M. Ganes. Surviving are three daughters, Helen Ganes and Thelma (Larue) McKenzie both of Kingstree, Betty Ruth (Allen) Floyd of Lake City. Three sons, Kenneth (Iris) Bryant, Keith (Linda) Bryant and Jack Bryant all of Lake City. A sister, Vi Hancock of Lake City. Two brothers, Luther Culick and Albert Culick both of Lake City. A daughter-in-law, Mary Frances Bryant of Lake City. Fifteen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren.
