Helen Margaret Wentling Turbeville Mrs. Helen Margaret Wentling age 98 died January 19, 2015 at a Florence nursing facility after an illness. A memorial service will be held at 11 am Friday January 23, 2015 at Turbeville Southern Methodist Church. A visitation will be held from 6 - 8 PM Thursday at Turbeville Southern Methodist Church. Born in Lebanon, Pennsylvania , she was a daughter of the late Franklin H. Spang and Ada Margaret Long Spang. Mrs. Wentling was member of Turbeville Southern Methodist Church, founder and President of Turbeville 60's Plus, She attend two years at Columbia Bible College in Columbia, and was co-founder along with her husband, of Brookland Plantation Home for Boys in Orangeburg, S.C. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Ralph A. Wentling. Surviving are three daughters, Gladys (Richard) Blank of Turbeville, Eileen M.(Charles) Landis of Manheim, Pa., and Phyllis J. (Guy) Sanders of Newport Richey, Fl. , 9 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
