Henry Thurston Bagnal, Jr.

Sumter - Thurston Bagnal, Jr. age 66, passed away Monday, March 21, 2016 after a brief illness. A memorial service will be held at 11 AM Friday March 25, 2016 at The Turbeville Southern Methodist Church, directed by Floyd Funeral Home of Olanta. Thurston was a son of the late Henry Thurston Bagnal, Sr. and Margaret Rowland Bagnal. He was a Principal of the South Carolina Department of Corrections and a member of The Turbeville Southern Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Coker Bagnal; a sister, Garland Bagnal Shaffner; a brother, Earle Rowland Bagnal. He is survived by one son, Garrett Bagnal of Charlotte, North Carolina.
