Henry L. Barrineau Lake City Henry Lawrence Barrineau, age 86, died Saturday, February 18, 2012 at his residence in Barrineau, after an illness. Services will be held at 4pm Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at Barrineau Pentecostal Holiness Church with burial in Thomas Cemetery near Olanta, directed by Floyd Funeral Home of Olanta. Visitation will be from 2-4pm prior to the service at the church. H. L. was the son of the late Henry L. Barrineau, Sr. and Ida Jane Mims, married to Donnie Mae E. Barrineau for 62 years. Mr. Barrineau was a member of the Barrineau Pentecostal Holiness Church, he served as Sunday school secretary of the church, was a deacon of the church, and a trustee of the church. He served on the board of trustees of East Clarendon School in the early 50's for a number of years, the board of directors in building of the Olanta Health Center, the board of directors of the Olanta Citizens Bank, Emeritus, and the Clarendon County Planning Commission and also on the Farmers Home Administration (F.H.A.)Board for a number of years. He was a precious husband and uncle. He loved to plant gardens and watch them grow. He was happiest when he could build items in his shop with his saws. Mr. H. L. loved all people and helped so many. He was preceded in death by ten siblings He is survived by one sister, Emmaline Calcutt of Cades; two sister-in-laws, Betty Yanpolsky of Colorado and Dorothy Barrineau of Mullins. The family of Mr. Barrineau wants to thank Dr. Dorn Smith, Dr. Kate Smith, Dr. Gamble and Amedisys Hospice for all of their love, support and kindness that they have shown, during Mr. H.
