Henry J. 'Nick' Floyd Lake City Henry J. "Nick" Floyd age 68, of the Barrineau Community, died Thursday March 12, 2015 at Palmetto Richland Hospital in Columbia after an illness. A funeral service will be held at 3 PM Saturday March 14, 2015 at Barrineau Pentecostal Holiness Church with burial in the church cemetery, directed by Floyd Funeral Home of Olanta. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service at the church. Born in Clarendon County, he was a son of the late Rev. Herbert G. Floyd and Ida Mae Floyd. He was a retired farmer and attended Barrineau Pentecostal Holiness Church. He was preceded in death by a son, Chad J. Floyd, two sisters, Buena F. Floyd and Ada Rea Floyd, four brothers, Charles F. Floyd, Bobby Ray Floyd, Herbert Mitchell Floyd, and J. H. Floyd. Surviving are a son, Nicholas Lynn (Elissa L.) Floyd of Charlotte, two sisters, Betty Joyce (Johnny G.) Lee and Roxie Mae (Julian) Beard both of Lake City, three sisters-in-law, Helen P. Floyd, Patsy G. Floyd and Louise M. Floyd all of Lake City, a very special friend, Vera Coker of Lake City, two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
