Mitchell "Hubcap" Floyd Mr. Mitchell "Hubcap" Floyd, age 69, died Wednesday, April 14, 2010 after an illness. Funeral services will be 2pm, Saturday, April 17th, 2010 at Barrineau Pentecostal Holiness Church with burial in church cemetery, directed by FLOYD FUNERAL HOME, INC of Olanta. Visitation will be 6-8pm, tonight (Friday) at the church. Born in Clarendon County, he was a son of the late Reverend Herbert A. Floyd and Ida Mae Floyd. Mr. Floyd was a Farmer and attended Barrineau Pentecostal Holiness Church. He was preceded in death by one sister; Buena Floyd Frye. Two brothers; Bobby Ray Floyd and Fraidy Floyd. Surviving are his wife; Helen Parker Floyd of Lake City. Two daughters; Dawn (Kevin) Green and Summer (Will) Gaymon both of Lake City. Two sisters; Roxie Mae (Julian) Beard and Betty (Johnny) Lee both of Lake City. One brother; Nick Floyd of Lake City. Two sister-in-laws; Louise Floyd and Patsy Floyd both of Lake City. Four grandchildren; Mitchell Gaymon, Slate Green, Ida Green and Kohl Gaymon, fifteen inherited grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the Barrineau Pentecostal Holiness Church Building Fund, 3709 St. James Road, Lake City, S.C. 29560.
