Howard C. Lynch Kingstree Howard C. Lynch age 79, passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at his residence after an illness. A service will be held at 1pm Friday, October 31, at Floyd Funeral Home Chapel, with burial at Lake City Memorial Park, directed by Floyd Funeral Home of Olanta. Visitation will be held from 6-8pm Thursday evening October 30, 2014 at the funeral home. Born in Florence County his was a son of the late George Washington Lynch and Rebecca Fannie Locklair Lynch. He was a retired sawer mill wright. Mr. Lynch was preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Clarice Miles death, 2 daughters, Patricia Ann (George) Adams, and Frances Elaine (Ray) Hammond, a son, Ronnie Joe (Robin) Lynch, brothers, Hoyt Lynch, Roy Lynch, Joe Lynch, Foster Lynch, and Ivan Lynch, sisters; Letha Strickland and Eleanor Strickland. He is survived by two daughters, Rebecca Marie (Michael) Todd of Hemingway, Lisa Lynch (Timmie) Matthews of Kingstree; one son, C. H. (Wanda) Lynch of Kingstree; one sister, Laura Mae Lynch (T.J.) Elliott of Andrews; step-children; Sam (Faye) Nexsen, Roy Nexsen, Sam Nexsen, Joel Carlin Lambert, Jamie Richard Lambert, and Andy Artumas Lambert, twelve grandchildren; twenty-four great-granchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
