Hoyt Hilbert Lee Scranton Mr. Hoyt Hilbert Lee, age 72, died Monday, July 18 at a Florence hospital after an illness. A funeral service will be held at 4pm, Wednesday, June 20, 2011 at Floyd Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Matthews Cemetery in Coward, directed by Floyd Funeral Home of Olanta. Visitation will be held Tuesday (tonight) July 19, 2011 from 6-8pm, at the funeral home. Born in Florence County Mr. Lee was the son of the late Blaney Lee and Nettie Lee. He was a crane operator at Vulcraft Steel Plant, and attended Lee's Tabernacle. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mettie Lucille Lee. One sister, Kathleen Melton and three brothers, Ronald Lee, William Lee and Theodore Lee. He is survived by one daughter, Mettie Denice Lee of Timmonsville. Two sons, Nelson (Elaine) Lee of Scranton and Hilbert (Trudy) Lee of Lake City. Two sisters, Louise Davis and Belle Lee both of Scranton. One brother, Cleo Lee of Florence, four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
