Ima Jean Langston

Ima Jean Langston Lynchburg- Ima Jean Langston age 84, died December 11, 2012 in a Sumter hospital after an illness. Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock PM Friday December 14, 2012 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery directed by Floyd Funeral Home of Olanta. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 PM Thursday. Born in Clarendon County, she was a daughter of the late Anthian McCutcheon Morris and Colzie Eliza Morris. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, The Pleasant Grove Women's Missionary Society, the Ladies Sunday School Class, and the church choir. She formerly worked at Skyline Mfg. Company for over 20 years. She was preceded in death by her husband; E. J. Langston, Brothers; Bethea Morris (Barney Lee), Carol Morris (Marguerite), Bobby Morris (Irene), Billy Morris (Lola Nell). Surviving are three daughters; Deborah Langston Finkelstein of Orangeburg, Sabra (Glenn) Brown of Lynchburg, and Susan Langston (Steven) Johnson of Cary, N.C., a sister; Colleen Watford (Lonnie) of Camden, S.C., grandchildren; Jim Keels (Sissy) of Lynchburg, Allison Partee (Jamie) of Turbeville, Britt and Madison Johnson of Cary, N.C., six great-grandchildren; Jake and Audrey Keels, Bailey and Dylan Atkinson, Walker and Drayton Partee.
